Nan-shu ( 
, ナンシュ, Nanshu) is the deuteragonist of Chu-Teng. He is a Star Light that serves as the Guard of Chu-Teng. After separating his head from his body and going into Ge-Teng to stop the darkness from taking over Chu-Teng, he was attacked by Chui-hei. This attack caused the parts of Nan-shu's face to be scattered across outer space and the Earth. Nan-shu transformed the two parts of his face that fell to Earth into different items to help Rin in his mission. His ears became the Chu-Teng Tablet and his left eye became a ship for Rin to travel across Chu-Teng in.

The Guard of Chu-Teng was I, Nan-shu. I removed my face from my body in an effort to survive in Ge-Teng. I left behind my body in a room of the Star Palace and proceeded towards Ge-Teng. I was not a light of the Star Palace from the very start; I did not belong to any palace at all. However, Suin-shin adopted me as one of his own.
