Land Chu-Teng
Location Sun Palace
Role Ruler of Sun Palace

Tai-yang ( Ta I Ya N, タイヤン, Taiyan) is the creator and ruler of the Sun Palace. He can be found throughout the Sun Palace, since he split himself into four separate parts. These four parts are his eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. He split himself apart so he could search for sources of light besides himself. He wants nothing but to consume light to make himself brighter. He has already consumed most of the lights of the Sun Palace.

Chu-Teng Tablet Entry

Habitat and Role
Tai-yang, who governs the Sun Palace, consists of four discrete parts;
eyes, mouth, nose, and ears. Their purpose is to further brighten
Tai-yang by taking the form of suns and burning brilliantly. For this
reason, the Sun Palace is the brightest place in all of Chu-Teng. They
are Light Supremacists who aspire to monopolize all brightness.

Trivia

  • Tai-yang's name could be taken as the spelling of the chinese word for sun, Tàiyáng (太陽).
