The Eyeball of Dreaming (夢見の目玉) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is a quest item that Byou must acquire it as part of his mission. In actuality, it is one of the eyeballs that belonged to Tou-gyou.

Obtaining

The Eyeball of Dreaming is located within the roots of the Tree of Life Mingke-shu. Byou must enter the tree by using either the Ant or the Koma on Moku-gyou. Moku-gyou will then ask who the Eyeball of Dreaming originally belonged to. The answer is Tou-gyou; Moku-gyou tells you that Sui-gyou took Tou-gyou's right eye, and that his left eye was buried under the Tree of Life. You may then go down to the roots and obtain the eyeball.

Contrary to popular belief, there are a few places the player can find Tou-gyou's name before being prompted for it from Moku-gyou. They are as follows:

• If the player has a Golden Flower and speaks to Tou-gyou's emblem in Yui-wang and clicks the emblem, Tou-gyou introduces himself by name.
• By entering TO-U-GI-YO-U into the Tong-Nou Computer in Thi-eng, he appears on the monitor.

Usage

The Eyeball of Dreaming must be taken to Sui-gyou's chamber in the Palace of Dreaming Ping-chao, and installed on Zuo-mong using the Wrench. This will fulfill Byou's mission.
