The Morning Glory ( , 朝顔, Asagao) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is a consumable item that can be used to save the player from precarious situations.
Obtaining
The Morning Glory may only be acquired via trade in the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang, where one can trade an Eyeball-Stone for it.
Usage
The Morning Glory can be used as a laxative to save the player from death within Chi-fang, the Room of Appetite, and to save them from death after drinking the Poison in Pu-ryao, the Room of Immortality.
It addition, it can be traded in the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang, along with an Eyeball-Stone, to acquire a Peach from Mai-chiu.

Trivia
- Morning Glory is the common name of various real flowers of the classification Convolvulaceae. It describes roughly 1,000 real-world flowers.
- Strangely, the Morning Glory's name is misspelled as Mornig Glory in the Furoshiki (missing the second N). It is spelled normally in all other texts.
