The Eyeball of Dreaming (Ne Me Mi Me Da Ma, 夢見の目玉) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is a quest item that Byou must acquire it as part of his mission. In actuality, it is one of the eyeballs that belonged to Tou-gyou.

Obtaining

The Eyeball of Dreaming is located within the roots of the Tree of Life Mingke-shu. Byou must enter the tree by using either the Ant or the Koma on Moku-gyou. Moku-gyou will then ask who the Eyeball of Dreaming originally belonged to. The answer is Tou-gyou; Moku-gyou tells you that Sui-gyou took Tou-gyou's right eye, and that his left eye was buried under the Tree of Life. You may then go down to the roots and obtain the eyeball.

Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to find Tou-gyou's name before being prompted for it by Moku-gyou. On any engraving of Tou-gyou, except for the one in the Palace of Dreaming Ping-chao, clicking on the region around his eyes will cause him to introduce himself by name.

Usage

The Eyeball of Dreaming must be taken to Sui-gyou's chamber in the Palace of Dreaming Ping-chao, and installed on Zuo-mong using the Wrench. This will fulfill Byou's mission.

Tong-Nou Book Entry

An irreplacable object in Mon-chien (Land of Dreaming). Without it, dreaming would be impossible.
