The Katana of Five Forces (五力の剣) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is the ultimate item in the game, used by Rin.
Obtaining
The Katana is obtained by bringing the Katana Gem filled with all five forces to Tou-gyou's emblem on the stairs of the Central Mountain Tong-nou. Upon giving them to him, he turns them into the Katana.
Usage
It is used in the Octagonal Shrine Par-fang to release the Earth Magatama, and ultimately Tou-gyou, from the entrapment of the four kings. With the Earth Magatama, Rin will be able to get his soul back. Notably, once Rin has used the Katana of Five Forces, Rin is locked into a point of no return where the only way forward is the ending of the game itself; should the player wish to do anything else, it is worth it to hold off on using the Katana.
