The Hitogata (ヒトガタ) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is a consumable item that is a piece of paper shaped like a person, and is used as a scapegoat by Rin.

Obtaining

The Hitogata can only be acquired in the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang, by trading an Eyeball Stone and a Koma for it.

Usage

The Hitogata can be used to avoid death, like the Amulet. Much like the Amulet, it disappears after a single use, and can protect from any source of harm except for either the Poison or the Moon Water in Pu-ryao.

In addition, it can also be used to bypass Ah & Ung's riddle at the entrance of the Palace of Dreaming Ping-chao, by using it as a scapegoat to pass through the duo. This consumes the Hitogata.

Tong-Nou Book Entry

Piece of paper shaped as a human. Becomes your scapegoat when in danger or substitute to do whatever you want it to.

Trivia

  • The only things the Hitogata (and by extension, the Amulet) cannot protect from are the Poison and the Moon Water, both in Pu-ryao.
