The Morning Glory (朝顔, Asagao) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is a consumable item that can be used to save the player from precarious situations.

Obtaining

The Morning Glory may only be acquired via trade in the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang, where one can trade an Eyeball-Stone for it.

Usage

The Morning Glory can be used as a laxative to save the player from death within Chi-fang, the Room of Appetite, and to save them from death after drinking Pu-ryao's Poison.

It can also be traded in the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang, along with an Eyeball-Stone, to acquire a Peach from Mai-chiu.

Tong-Nou Book Entry

Trivia

A real world Morning Glory.
  • Morning Glory is the common name of various real flowers of the classification Convolvulaceae. It describes roughly 1,000 real-world flowers.
  • Strangely, the Morning Glory's name is misspelled as Mornig Glory in the Furoshiki (missing the second N). It is spelled normally in all other texts.
