Plot

Jumping Jack Bu and Mr. Okhotsk are about to start their game.

Jumping Jack Bu runs all the way up a mountain to Mr. Okhotsk's residence, where they play a game of Chō-han together. The player gets to participate in the game, having to choose even or odd for Bu, although he will win no matter what the player chooses. After 5 consecutive wins, Bu has accumulated a large pile of gold coins. We see the outside of the building, where a limousine pulls up and takes Bu away.

Explanation

Literally: If one doesn't enter the tiger's den, one can't get tiger cubs.

You have to be willing, sometimes, to take a chance if you want to gain something of value. The trick, however, is knowing when it is the right time to take the risk. Playing it safe all the time would bring only modest returns or little advance; and reckless gambling would result in sure ruin. Perhaps your best guides for deciding the time and place to go out on a limb are experience and instinct. Bu was willing to bet big, and won big. No pain, no gain.
