Plot

Banaten arrives at his house to discover that he has run out of fried bananas. He uses his computer to enable his "Bio-Banana Reactor," a machine that makes fried bananas. Firstly, a mysterious gas is pumped from tanks onto a banana tree, causing bananas to grow rapidly. Secondly, a mechanical arm picks the bananas off the three and places them onto a conveyor belt. Thirdly, the bananas roll down the conveyor belt and go through a machine that separates and cuts them up. Fourthly, the bananas roll up a ramp on the conveyor belt into a deep fryer. Lastly, a mechanism in the deep fryer launches the fried bananas onto Banaten's plate. This process repeats until there are no bananas left on the tree. Banaten tastes the one of the industrially-made fried bananas and is satisfied with the results.

Literally: Necessity is the mother of invention.

We tend to come up with new ideas and inventions when we are most in need of them. Banaten, well-known for his love of bananas, ran out of the deep-fried delicacies-his absolute favorite. Faced with the unthinkable prospect of having to go without, Banaten quickly put himself to the task... and came up in a flash with a new machine to automatically produce his favorite dish. When there is a need, we usually find a way. Just think of how inventive you become when you want to go out and play, but your mother makes you stay at home and study.
