Plot

Cho whacking Pon on the head with a bat.

Pon walks out of his house, then Cho runs up behind him and whacks him with a bat. As Pon is walking along the beach, Cho sneaks up behind him, snorkeling, and shoots him with a slingshot. As Pon is walking across a bridge, Cho runs him over with a motorcycle. As Pon is walking through the streets of a city, Cho appears in a window and shoots him with a rifle. As Pon is walking back to his house, Cho comes out of a trash can and punches him with a boxing glove. Back at Pon's house, we see Cho walk away from it with a lighter. Pon comes home to a lit stick of dynamite in his food bowl, which explodes off-screen.

Pon walks across the screen with a bindle, as he is now homeless.

Explanation

Literally: One misfortune goes, another comes.

Just when you think you've escaped disaster, you find yourself in the middle of yet another fix—maybe an even worse one. Of course, no one likes problems; but when they come, don't they always seem to come in bunches? And when you're caught up in them, doesn't it seem like they'll never end? Look at Pon, just when he thinks he's finally gotten through the worst of Cho's tricks and escaped to the safety of his home... But Pon never gives up, because he knows that if he can withstand the hardships, he can overcome them—and after pain there is pleasure, and after sorrow there is happiness.
