The Rabbit Ears are the moon rabbit Tsukiusa-yin's ears. They can be used at the entrance of the Five-Story Pagoda to listen to the Meditating Giant that has been turned into the door of the pagoda. If you do this, the door will tell you the password needed to get into the Underground Palace.
