Pon is a yellow, upright-walking dog who is the main character of the Roly Polys series. Cho serves as a foil to Pon, playing substantially more pranks on him than on the other characters. In fact, this dynamic may be a reference to the phrase central to the first game, "The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog".

"Pon the dog likes nothing better than to take it easy, not thinking about anything. For that reason, he often finds himself the unfair target of Cho who can't stand seeing anyone not doing anything and never fails to get angry when he does. But this doesn't seem to worry Pon, who doesn't care what Cho does to him. He spends most of his time lying around doing nothing but he's extremely tenacious when it comes to food. He'll do anything to get food. He has a strange habit - raising both arms and sitting down with a big bump."
