The Compass ( 
, 羅針盤) is an item in Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou. It is used for navigation in the Land of Time.
Obtaining
It is obtained in Shi-chieng, in the Plains of Chi-u. To locate the Compass, the player needs to locate the Candle located to the East of the Fire Tower Tong-tah (facing away from the side with the Chu-Teng emblem), and then move one step to the east, and two steps to the north (in essence, one step forward, turning left, and taking two steps forward).
Usage
When used in the plains, it will tell the player which cardinal direction they are currently facing in, in terms of North, South, East, and West.
Using the Compass outside of the Land of Time or within the Fire Tower Tong-tah and Computer Room Thi-eng has no effect.
Tong-Nou Book Entry
This compass will guide you when you are lost in the Plains of Chi-u.
