The Giant Astronaut floats to and from the roof of Meigetsu-So Apartment. A low trumpet noise can be heard throughout the building when he is present.

The astronaut is responsible for what is likely the rarest event in the entire game. After a special, pink-colored link, the astronaut will come down from his usual path in the sky to (presumably) order some beer.
