Bright Moon Apartment is the first field in LSD: Dream Emulator and where the player always starts on Day 1. The apartment sections are split into 4 cubicles, occupied by "strange residents" as the LSD Manual Cards put it. On the ground floor is a bar and on the top floor is a fenced-in roof.

Trivia

  • The level is based on a real apartment, which Hiroko Nishikawa describes in a few dream diary entries. It was located at 1 Chome-35-3 Nishihara, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-0066. [1]
  • The stair animation won't play if the player enters them by sidestepping or walking backwards.
  • The WC (Water Closet) door has remnants of an unfinished room behind it. This is most easily observed by freezing the ram address 0x91574 at 11 to walk through walls.
  • Not a single entity in the game specifically links to Bright Moon Apartment.
  • A door model exists in the files for this area, suggesting that it could be interacted with at some point during development.
  • The player walks at half speed in this area.
