 According to [https://archive.org/details/wired-magazine-04.03-1996-march/page/n170/mode/1up the March 1996 issue of Wired magazine], a North American release of Chu-Teng was planned for mid-1996. Additionally, the June 1996 issue of Taiwanese gaming publication ''Soft World Magazine'' mentions that the game was featured at Sony Interactive's booth during that year's E3. Despite this, an official localization ultimately never hit the market.
