Tai-yang

Taiyan (タイヤン in japanese) is a Chu-Teng creature who is the Sun Palace admiral. He divided himself up into 4 pieces in order to scout it for other sources of light besides his own.

Taiyan's name could be taken as the japanese spelling of the chinese word for sun, Tàiyáng (太陽).
