Lovely Sweet Dream is the commercial release of a dream diary kept by Hiroko Nishikawa, an employee of Asmik Ace Entertainment and frequent collaborator of Sato's. The book, as well as LSD and Remixes, were released alongside LSD: Dream Emulator. The book features the text of the dreams in both Japanese and English, with an artists depiction on the left page and the text of the dream on the right page. There are pages with several smaller dreams that are only in Japanese.

Relation to LSD: Dream Emulator

All text dreams in LSD: Dream Emulator are excerpts from the dream diary. Several in-game entities and even locations are inspired by it.
